WISE for HaKaSe⁺ is pleased to present a special lecture, “Pandemic Preparedness and Vaccine Development,” by a graduate of Kanazawa University, Dr. Nicaise Ndembi, Deputy Director General of the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) and Director of its Africa Regional Office.

The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) has reported over 200 disease outbreaks in 2025, highlighting an urgent need for enhanced public health measures. This lecture will provide an overview of the latest developments in pandemic preparedness and vaccine development in Africa.

ナノ精密医学・理工学卓越大学院プログラムは、本学大学院医学系研究科（博士課程）修了生であり、国際ワクチン研究所（IVI）副所長兼アフリカ地域事務所所長を務めるニケーズ・デンビ博士による特別講演「パンデミックへの備えとワクチン開発」を開催いたします。

アフリカ疾病管理予防センター（アフリカCDC）によると、2025年には200件を超える感染症の発生が報告されており、公衆衛生対策の一層の強化が急務であることが浮き彫りになっています。本講演では、アフリカにおけるパンデミックへの備えとワクチン開発の最新動向についてデンビ博士にお話しいただきます。
