大学院での学びや経験を活かして社会で活躍する先輩の経験談を聴き、博士としての未来につなげるチャンスにしてください。
「博士」の学位はキャリアの道を大きく広げる重要なパスポートです。
この講座が、博士進学を自身の歩む選択肢のひとつとして考えるきっかけ、博士人材として産業界・アカデミアで活躍する姿を描くヒントになれば幸いです。
今回は製薬業界の研究部門で活躍する先輩を招き、講演及び質疑応答を行います。

●講師：小沼実香 博士
・医薬保健学総合研究科　薬学専攻　薬学博士課程 令和4年度修了
・ロート製薬株式会社勤務（ロートリサーチビレッジ京都 基盤技術研究部 素材系研究グループ）
学生時代の研究・経験を通じ培った薬用植物の専門知識を礎に、現在は植物由来原料の研究開発に従事。

●会場：角間南地区 自然科学系図書館棟大会議室（オンライン同時開催）
●演題：「博士の研究は社会でどう活きるか ― 化粧品・OTC医薬品研究の現場から」
※講演後に質疑応答の時間を設けます。

博士の研究は“論文”だけで終わりません。自分が悩みながら積み上げた経験が、世の中や人々の生活につながっていくことを、今の仕事を通じて実感しています。博士課程に進むか迷っている人も、すでに研究を始めている人も、少しでも未来をイメージできる時間になれば嬉しいです。

The following “Career Discovery” lecture will be held as part of the KU Doctoral Career Session.
A “doctoral” degree is an important passport that can greatly expand your career path.
We hope that this lecture will provide you with an opportunity to consider doctoral studies as one of your options and a hint for how to envision yourself as a doctoral candidate active in industry and academia.

This lecture, we will host a graduate active in the pharmaceutical industry’s R&D department for a lecture and Q&A session.

A PhD’s research doesn’t end with just a “thesis.” Through my current work, I truly feel how the experiences I painstakingly accumulated while wrestling with challenges connect to society and people’s lives.
