Regarding the call for applications for Selection in April, 2024 of the “Kanazawa University Strategic Project for Development of Doctoral Students and Research Promotion (HaKaSe+) “
Kanazawa University (hereinafter referred to as “KU”) has been selected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) and Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) for the “ Fellowship Project” and “SPRING : Support for Pioneering Research Initiated by the Next Generation Home”, and since FY2021, KU has been providing financial and career development supports to selected doctoral students for the “KU Doctoral Fellowship Project for Science & Technology” and “Project for Outstanding Next Generation Ph.D. Students” under the “Kanazawa University Strategic Project for Development of Doctoral Students and Research Promotion (HaKaSe+)”
Regarding the support project to doctoral students from FY2024 onwards, a Call for Proposals has been started by the government as a successor project that will integrate both projects mentioned above. KU has also applied for it, but the acceptance or rejection has not yet been decided.
Therefore, HaKaSe+ will notify you of the call for applications for Selection in April, 2024 again on the HaKaSe+ Website and through a message via Acanthus Portal, once KU is ready to announce you based on the results of the Call for Proposals for the successor project.
Please note that KU will continue to support under the WISE Program for Nano-Precision Medicine, Science, and Technology.
It is one of the significant missions for KU to strengthen the functions of the graduate school.
HaKaSe+ will promote its efforts so ensure that more and more talented and motivated students decide to proceed to doctoral course and gain various experiences through doctoral course with an eye to their future successes after obtaining a doctoral degree.
