Dec. 22 (Mon) Lecture by world-leading researcher in “Sansan-juku for Next-Generation Doctoral Talents” × HaKaSe+ Project Briefing Session of applications for the April 2026 intake

– I love doing research! I want to continue my research in a doctoral program!
– What makes doctoral professionals so valuable?
– I want to continue my research, but I’m worried about the financial burden of moving on to a doctoral program…

For students who hold such dreams and hopes—and also concerns—about pursuing doctoral studies, Kanazawa University offers its full support.

On Monday, December 22, HaKaSe+ will host “the 10th Sansan-juku for Next-Generation Doctoral Talents × Project Briefing Session.”

In the Sansan-juku for Next-Generation Doctoral Talents, we will welcome Dr. Kazumi Kato, Fellow and Director of the Innovation School at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). Drawing on her extensive expertise in cultivating early-career doctoral talent, Dr. Kato will speak about the societal expectations placed on doctoral professionals and the qualities and competencies required to meet those expectations.
In the project briefing session, we will introduce an overview of HaKaSe+, provide details on the application for the April 2026 intake, and offer an opportunity to hear firsthand experiences from current HaKaSe+ selected students. The recruitment details for the April 2026 term will undergo significant changes.
We look forward to the participation of students who are considering or planning to advance to the Doctoral Level Section of Integrated Course and Doctoral Course!
